Zagreb InMusic festival is a music festival that will have its 12th edition in 2017. It is the largest open-air music festival located in Croatia. Often dubbed as the Croatian Glastonbury, it takes place on the three islands (Island of Croatian Youth, Island of Trešnjevka and the Island of Universiad) of the Jarun lake where thousands of people gather to listen to all kind of music. The 2017 edition will take place from 16th of June until 23rd of June for campers and from 19th until 21st for other visitors.
Multiple high esteemed media sources have included Zagreb InMusic in their list of top music festivals in the world. The most notable being:
- CNN – included InMusic in their list of top 50 music festivals in the world, two years running.
- National Geographic Traveler – InMusic is featured in their Top three festivals you got to see in 2016.
- Huffington Post – festival is featured in their Top 10 music festivals in the world.
- New Musical Express (NME) – which called it ”the undiscovered gem of European festival scene” and noted ”it offers a unique experience in a unique location”.
The schedule and the list of headliners in 2017 still hasn’t been published, but the festival has confirmed that the main attraction will be the Canadian Indie rock sensation Arcade Fire.
The ticket prices are 315 kunas (~40€ or ~ 50$) for the festival ticket which covers all three days of the festival and the camping ticket costs 210 kunas (~28€ or 32$) which covers all seven days of camping on the Islands of Trašnjevka and the Island of Universiad.
